I'm currently in the last chapters of 'Even Cowgirls Get the Blues' and the author has made reference to some historical event in Los Angeles in which women are executed, amongst other refences (ch. 113). Does anyone have info on what happened? The other events were actually named,so is this one a fictitious refernce?
I am also a new member...the only two books I've read "still life with woodpecker" and the one I am currently reading. So nice to meet ya'll.
